Each Takumitak fixed blade knife with a D2 blade carries a limited lifetime warranty for the original retail purchaser.
The warranty covers manufacturer defects in the material and workmanship of the knife.
Each Takumitak fixed blade knife with a 3cr13 blade carries a limited warranty for the original retail purchaser for a
period of 1 year from the purchase date. The warranty covers manufacturer defects in the material and workmanship of the knife.
The warranty does not cover ordinary wear, rust, damage, or breakage resulting from
improper use, improper sharpening, modifications, failure to properly maintain the knife, accidents, loss, or theft.
Takumitak reserves the right to define what is considered ordinary wear, improper use or maintenance, and what is considered a modification.
Takumitak will handle all warranty claims in the United States of America and US Territories. International distributors will handle
all warranty claims in their respective countries. Please note that we may have different policies for each country in accordance with
each country’s laws and regulations regarding warranties.
Servicemen and servicewomen deployed outside of the United States of America defending our freedom abroad with a valid APO/FPO
address can file a warranty claim with and ship to Takumitak directly for warranty service in the USA. We will receive and process your warranty.
To make a warranty claim within the United States of America and US Territories, contact Takumitak directly at support@takumitak.com and we
will service your warranty claim. Please have your proof of purchase ready showing you are the original retail purchaser of a brand new Takumitak knife.
We will guide you through the process of returning the knife for inspection.
There are no processing costs or fees associated with making a valid warranty claim. Takumitak will provide you with a prepaid shipping label to ship us
your knife and pay for shipping your knife back to you. Service times vary but we will try to process your claim as soon as we can.
Takumitak Warranty Resolution
Each knife will be inspected and evaluated for compliance with warranty terms. If a knife cannot be repaired, Takumitak will choose
a replacement knife of equal or greater value. The replacement product will be a new knife of the same model or a new knife of a different model if the
same model is not available.
For D2 steel fixed blade knives repaired or replaced under warranty, the original limited lifetime warranty will apply to the repaired or replacement
knife based on the original warranty terms.
For 3cr13 steel fixed blade knives repaired or replaced under warranty, the warranty will be the remainder of the original warranty or 100 days,
whichever is longer.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
By purchasing any item sold by Takumitak, the buyer expressly warrants that he/she is in compliance with all applicable Federal, State,
and local laws, ordinances, and / or regulations regarding the purchase, ownership, transportation, sale and use of the item. The buyer expressly
agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Takumitak for all claims resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership, transportation,
sale, or use of the item in violation of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinances, or regulations. It is the buyer’s responsibility to comply
with all Federal, State and Local laws governing the sale of any items listed, illustrated, or sold.

A non-internet based copy of this warranty is available and can be mailed to you. To request a copy of this warranty, please contact Takumitak
and we will mail you a copy through the US Postal Service within the United States of America.
